Scandinavian Cal-look Classic Event 15-16-17 August

SCC want´s YOU and all your VW friends at Gardermoen International Raceway the 15-17th of august!

Traditionally SCC has for the past 7 years been a strictly cal-look event, but this year will mark the beginning of a new era witch welcomes all air cooled VW fans to join the fun at Gardermoen. This includes everything from Schwimmwagens to Pro Mod sedans. We are also bringing out many old Scandinavian show cars from the 80´s and 90´s. The show and shine will be held right next to the drag strip, so you won´t miss a thing! The dragracing itself will of course be of our usual high standard with the
difference that we are now renting the whole raceway for ourselves. This means we can race from dusk till dawn on both Saturday and Sunday! SCC has made a name for itself outside the borders of Norway, being fortunate to have had visitors from many european countries. And by the look of it, this years SCC will be more international than ever! The event will be hosted in cooperation with several of the largest VW clubs in Norway, indicating the huge interest to arrange an event on this scale.

-Tech inspection from 09:00 Sat. and Sunday
-Driver meeting 09:00 Sat and Sunday
-Drag racing all day from 10:00 Sat. and Sunday

-We light the grill on Saturday 19:00. Bring your own food!
-Live music Saturday from 21:00
-Show and Shine form 10:00 Saturday and Sunday
-Showcasing cars from 13:00 Saturday and Sunday
-Award show 15:00 Sunday

How to get there?
SCC is located by Oslo Airport, Gardermoen. 50km north of Oslo.

From Oslo, follow signs along the E6 towards the airport. Don´t get off the freeway until the JESSHEIM N exit.
Take the first exit at the first roundabout, drive straight through in the second one. Then just follow the SCC signs.

From mainland Europe the easiest way to get to Oslo is to either drive trough Denmark, take the Copenhagen bridge and drive trough Sweden, or you could take the Kiel - Oslo ferry from Germany. See ColorLine for booking.

From the UK take the Channel Tunnel to Calais and drive from there or ferry from Newcastle to Stavanger. Contact DFDS Seaways for booking.

Where to stay?
Of course we will have camping on the grounds, so if you want to bring a big tent or caravan we will have plenty of space!
There are also about 13 hotels in the area, so rooms should be readily available.
We recommend the Quality Airport Hotel Gardermoen, which is closest to the track.
